this project explores the dual nature of nuit blanche: an event happening in physical, outdoor spaces, but defined by a distinctly digital and technological atmosphere. the concept relies on the research of the festival's history and visual identity, revealing a recurring tension between tactile human experience and the immersive, screen-like quality of contemporary art installations. a gradient sphere and a human figure reference the classical encounter with art — curiosity, presence, and a sense of belonging to something larger, while ascii art of a star and noisy texture introduces the digital dimension that expands these experiences. clean sans serif typography acts as a bridge between the two worlds, unifying the composition. together, these elements form a cohesive visual language that captures the spirit of the event.
